A Gentleman Talks is our series of one to one interviews with Ladies and Gentleman about their life, work and influences, all within the framework of our mission to make the world a more respectful stylish and gentlemanly place.
This interview was exceptionally special one for me as Rhidian was my teacher at Prep school and was a great influence on me in my later years.
Rhidian Llewellyn is ex-Headmaster at Papplewick and former House master of the Dragon School. He currently runs his educational consultancy. He is also a journalist and passionate about cricket amongst other things.
We have a great conversation about his journey to becoming headmaster and education in the modern world and what is missing in today’s schools.
We end each interview with 10 questions, which we ask every guest. These are graciously modelled on James Lipton’s questions from Inside the Actors Studio. We think they are so special that we give them too you as a teaser for each interview.
