I am writing this as Autumn falls upon the UK, we have had a fantastic summer. Even though we British love to complain about the weather, we surely can’t find a way to complain about the past few months. But it is now October and the weather is turning, the leaves are changing colour and we put away the Linen suit and the picnic basket. We dig out the tweed, wrap the scarves around our necks and seek the comfort of stews and roasts.
I do love the change of seasons, in Britain, we haven’t had much of that for a few years and it makes me smile to see the world fulfil its cycle.
The earth, life, work and indeed The Perfect Gentleman is always about working in cycles, and we are talking the penny farthing types now. In fact, if you look back into the old religions they believed Autumn to be when the cycle of life started again. In fact, Halloween which is also referred to as Samhain by certain religions is seen as a New Year. The start of the Circle of Life.
Indeed for the Perfect Gentleman, this is true. We have over the last few months been in a growing phase, growing content, partnerships and courses and building the brand. We are now in the position to ‘harvest’ what we have spent the better part of the year in the developing. The next part of the year is full of new elements and deploying all that we have done before in better ways. As you know we have launched “A Gentleman Talks” series of interviews and they are fantastic watching. Our new magazine website, the Code of The Gentleman is launched along with our original corporate website.
We are soon to be launching our run of short courses, which will start in November, they will be teaching everything from How to Be Charming and Picking the Perfect Suit to How to have the Perfect 1st Date and Learning how to choose Lingerie as a gift. We will launch our revamped Becoming the Perfect Gentleman 2 day events both here in London but also in New York. Our first Book will finally be out in a few months as well.
We are working with some fantastic new friends and working of some amazing projects (which are still hush hush) the days at PG HQ are very long at the moment which seem to match the time of year as the nights draw in. So much going on, It’s a wonder we have time to think of what’s next….but we are already thinking about next year and what new things well come out with then and maybe you will have influenced those choices!
Respectfully as always yours,
Zach
