London is not short of good restaurants and there are a fair few that serve a good steak. But who would have thought that it would take a Danish company to bring the finest steaks to London?
Mash opened its doors at 77 Brewer street about a year ago and recently won the prestigious
‘London Restaurant of the Year’ award at the London Lifestyle Awards 2013.
The stunning steaks are sourced from Uruguay, Denmark, American (IBP prime from Nebraska) and Wagyu from Australia are matched by the surroundings. The room is amazing. The restaurant is located in a listed interior which was removed, renovated and restored and then replaced a whole floor lower than the original location. Combined with contemporary seating a huge bar staffed with a team of highly talented and knowledgeable barmen and you have a very special spot to eat.
It has to be said that it’s not a cheap night out but then if you want quality you should expect to pay a little extra. So luxuriate in their comfortable red banquettes, work your way into the excellent wine list and enjoy an atmosphere that is very hard to beat.
I mentioned that this isn’t the cheapest place to eat but if you are quick you can pick up a bargain as Mash London celebrates its first birthday during November. The offer applies for just five days, from Sunday 3 to Thursday 7 November so you will need to be quick as this is likely to be a very popular offer. Make sure you quote ‘Birthday Offer’ when you book.
